Dr. Anupam Ahuja is a product of Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh. After winning multiple gold medals in MBBS, he went on to top the University in MS Ophthalmology. A Vitreo-retinal surgeon by training, he joined Ahuja Eye Centre in 2001, and is presently the Director of Vitreoretinal services at Ahuja Eye Centre. He is an active member of many societies including the Vitreo-retinal Society of India, the UP State Society, the All India Ophthalmic Society, IMA, and Private Doctors Association Aligarh. He has been in the faculty of many Instruction Courses and a guest speaker at many forums. He was also awarded the VN Raizada Award by the UP State Ophthalmic Society.

Under his able guidance, the centre has undergone rapid expansion and has acquired state–of–the–art modern facilities in various fields of Ophthalmology. He has more than twenty years of experience in dealing with various medical and surgical diseases of the retina, with a special interest in the treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy and Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
